Oscar Poche, is an accomplished DJ/Producer born in the Dominican Republic, now based in NY, who has done production work and written material for GEORGE KRANTZ, THE BELOVED, KAREN FINLEY, KYM SYMS, EXTORTION, KC FLIGHT, 2 Unlimited, Sabrina Johnston, and Arnold Jarvis... He founded the notorius Ground Level Magazine. In 1993 he helmed the 80 Proof Music Label.
Oscar has been a working DJ in the New York club scene since his teens spinning records at the top venues in the City and spinning for the world's ethnically mixed crowds at Disco Seven (Cannes France), Bash, Club Zen, V-Lounge, Nikki's Beach Club (Miami), Red (Miami), Baktun, Izzy Bar, Super Funk, GHB, Subliminal Sessions (NYC), Metro Cafe (DC), Club Nafoura (Italy, Bari), Soul Factory/Plant (Chicago), Gershwin Hotel (NY), Room 143 (China White), NY Diesel store, Opaline and most recently at Anime Film Festival, and Global Media Summit.
He also owns Media Services NYC, a marketing agency & music label with releases from Arnold Jarvis, Maurice Joshua, Sueno Soul, Mephisto Odyssey, and a leading promotion firm in the US working records for David Morales, ATB, Darude, Satoshi Tomiie, Jackie Christie, DJ Smash, Sarah Brightman, and many more. His new music single "Talking Japanese" Reached # 32 on The Swiss DJ Charts on Hit Parade which is a counterpart to the Billboard Charts in Europe. He also does a show for 80 PROOF FM Syndicated Radio in the US that is syndicated in 8 key markets throughout the world.
